Another North Shore TE getting looks

Houston (Texas) North Shore has always been a school for big time Division I athletes and this year's highly touted tight end Earl Mitchell is no different.
The 6-foot-3, 251-pound Mitchell is already holding offers from Arizona, Indiana, Oklahoma State, and Utah. With a camp visit to LSU in the works, plenty will get to see him show off his talents. Regardless, one team sits atop his leader list.

"You could say maybe Arizona is up there right now," Mitchell said. "It's just the way they approach me and I really like the tight end position which is where they want me at."
Mitchell claims no set date for a possible decision, but no coaches have been pushing him to announce that either. His high school coaches are also giving him the freedom to make the choice when he feels ready.
"My coaches are the ones helping me with all of this," Mitchell said. "The biggest thing they told me was to not be worried about it and to have fun with all of it."
As for visits, Mitchell is trying not to get too far ahead of himself and take things one day at a time.
"Actually, I haven't really thought about any yet," he said. "My coaches told me about the LSU camp so I'll head out there. To be honest, I really don't think I'll be making all five official visits."
"If I do take some of those, it would be during track season and it's important to me to not miss any meets. Sometime after that I could have a decision or maybe earlier."
