Another North Shore star decides

Galena Park (Texas) North Shore is loaded with Division I talent again, and just like his teammate, Chykie Brown, North Shore fullback Earl Mitchell has decided to end the recruiting process before it really could even get started.
"I wanted to get my commitment done prior to the season, and I'm committing to the University of Arizona," Mitchell, who is 6-foot-3 and 251 pounds, said.

"They're a great fit for what I can offer, and coach (Eric) Wolford has recruited me from the start. They were my first offer in the spring."
It was an offer he could not turn down.
Arizona over the past 10 years has made a living out of taking quality kids out of Houston, and Mitchell the latest in line. Mitchell also had offers from Indiana, Oklahoma State, Utah, and UTEP.
"Earl has a tremendous work ethic," North Shore coach David Aymond said. "He can work on his receiving skills, but he has a motor you just can't teach."
Mitchell agrees with his coach.
"I have been known to be real aggressive on every single play," Mitchell, ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 83 player in Texas by Rivals.com, said. "Even through walkthroughs I'm aggressive."
In other North Shore news, offensive line teammate Ryan Riggins, a preseason Rivals.com Texas top 100 pick, is no longer participating with the varsity squad, Aymond said. It's unclear whether or not he'll even play football this fall now.
