Another major offer for Houston

John Houston has quickly established himself as one of the top 2015 linebackers in California and now the offers are coming in quickly.
Miami is the latest school to offer the Gardena (Calif.) Serra standout who also has Florida, UCLA and USC on his list.

It's definitely another big one for Houston, who has looked the part at numerous 7on7 events so far this spring.
"They stopped by the school on Thursday," Houston said. "I talked to them and I called the coach and they said I have an official offer to the University of Miami.
"That program is huge to me. That's a really good program out there. They have great history and all the tradition. I love the tradition out there and it's a really big program."
UCLA was the first to offer the 6-foot-3, 198-pound outside linebacker and in recent weeks as the spring evaluation period has picked up the offers have steadily arrived from the others.
They're all big-time offers and since it's still so early, Houston said he doesn't want to name any frontrunners at this point.
Houston has not even started his junior campaign yet and already four of the nation's biggest programs have offered.
"They're all pretty much the same right now," Houston said.
"Because it's so early I don't want to say any favorites or any leaders right now. I still have a couple years so I'm going to wait until later to make my decision. I'll wait a couple years."
Plus, there is new interest coming in all the time. Cal and Michigan recently reached out to Houston and since Serra is arguably the state's top team heading into next season a bunch of college coaches are stopping by the school.
"It's pretty thrilling," Houston said. "I'm just happy about all this stuff right now. I'm really happy how everything is going and I hope it continues into my senior year since I'm just going to be a junior now."
