Another Kansan with an offer

Jasper Sanders did it all for Kansas City (Kan.) Piper last fall. Now, he's ready to prove he can make an impact on the next level.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound all-purpose back has an offer from Air Force and talked with several other schools.

"Air Force offered a few weeks ago when Matt Wallerstedt had me call him," Sanders said. "I like how much they run the ball, and they've recruited me a lot. I'll probably visit them this summer."
Sanders rushed for 745 yards and eight touchdowns in 2008, and he also saw time at quarterback and defensive back for Piper.
"I've got a lot of things to prove this year, too," he said. "You always need to prove yourself more."
Other schools that have shown interest in Sanders include Kansas State, Kansas, Iowa State and Wyoming.
"I talk to K-State a lot more than Kansas," he said. "I like that school, I've visited there a lot of times. I like the atmosphere up there."
Sanders has camped at K-State, KU and Northern Illinois this summer. He'll attend camps at Iowa State and Colorado State later in the summer. He said he'll likely make a decision on a school after the football season is over.
