Another Husky pledge reacts to change

For Puyallup, Wash., three-stare defensive tackle and Husky commitment Adam Grant the decision by Washington make a change in it’s coaching staff didn’t come as a surprise, but it didn’t keep him from feeling sorry that the move had to be made.
“I think it’s sad,” Grant, who is 6-foot-8 and 250 pounds, said. “Coach Gilbertson is one of the nicest coaches I’ve ever met. I did kind of see the writing on the wall, though. It wasn’t a huge surprise for me to see what happened.”

Yet it still the change was made and now the big question is whether or not Grant, or any of the four UDub commitments, will look at other schools. Grant said he’s recently picked up an offer from Arizona and that is appealing to him.
“I have an offer from them and they call all the time,” Grant said. “I’m also talking to a few other schools like Oregon State and Arizona State. It’s still too early for me to know if I’m going to take other visits or not.
“I have to wait and see what’s going on. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I’m pretty committed to UDub, and I’m still focused on the playoffs. We hope to win state, so that’s the biggest thing on my mind right now.”
