Another GTech Commitment

The Yellow Jackets are on a roll as the coaching staff has landed their third verbal commitment this week.
Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake cornerback Adam Jones has verbally committed to Georgia Tech.

“He committed on Monday,” confirmed Westlake Athletic Director Hilda Harkerson. “He chose Georgia Tech over interest from NC State, West Virginia, Virginia and South Carolina.”
Jones could be the top sleeper in the Atlanta area with his 6-foot, 180-pound frame and 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash. He could play cornerback or safety in college and is a sure tackler with excellent instincts.
He played linebacker at Westlake this season registering more than 100 tackles and picking off six passes. He also ran for 1,400 yards on offense.
