Another good GT visit for 2016 DB

Georgia Tech was the first major program to offer class of 2016 Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek defensive back Ronnie Blackmon so it's no wonder he's making it a priority to get on campus to see games this season.
Most recently he made the short drive into Atlanta to watch the Yellow Jackets beat North Carolina on national TV.

"It was a pretty good experience," Blackmon said. "It was a nice atmosphere and even thought I was raining the fans came and they were into the game and they came out on top so that was a good thing."
For the North Carolina game in particular the Yellow Jackets had a number of big-time underclassmen recruits on campus, something Blackmon said he was excited to see.
"It was good to see a lot of those guys because we all know each other from camps," he said. "They're doing a good job of showing interest in guys who are going to be big-time players."
On the trip Blackmon said he got to spend time with Jackets defensive coordinator Ted Roof as well as defensive backs coach Joe Speed.
"We just talked about the game and how big of a win it was for them," Blackmon said. "It was pretty exciting to spend some time with them after a win."
Blackmon said in addition to Georgia Tech he's also been hearing from Alabama, Oregon and Georgia.
