Another Big Ten offer for Berry

Just a day after winning the running back MVP award at the Gainesville Nike Football Training Camp, Miami (Fla.) Miami Palmetto running back Jaamal Berry has a new offer to add to his resume.
Already with offers from Minnesota and Ohio State, Berry added an offer a third Big Ten offer from the University of Michigan on Monday afternoon.

"I like Michigan," Berry said of the new offer. "I know they're a good football team and they always compete for the national title and they've got a good history of running backs. They had a good running back last year. They're in the Big Ten with Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State so I know they play good competition."
Berry also knows all about the new system that has been put in place with the hiring of Rich Rodriguez.
"They're a hard working team," Berry said. "They've got a new coach and a good system. They run the ball. I like their system."
While it may seem tough to get a South Florida native out of the sun of the southeast, Berry seems very open to Big Ten country.
"I don't think leaving Florida is a big factor," said Berry, who is being recruited by Coach McGee of Michigan. "In the beginning I thought it was but now when I look at things, it's not really a big factor leaving the state. Like the cold weather, I just gotta adjust to it."
Berry is already considering Wolverine rival Ohio State and plans on being in attendance this weekend for the Ohio State Spring Game. Along with Berry will be Brandon McGee, Victor Marc, Quanthony Fletcher and current Ohio State signee Travis Howard.
Among the other schools that have extended Berry offers of late are North Carolina, Tennessee and Rutgers.
