Another Big Ten commitment

"I went to Minnesota's camp," running back Maurice Alexander said. "I ran a 4.37 forty and they offered me a scholarship."

"I committed."

"I visited Minnesota at the beginning of my junior season. I liked it a lot then. It's right there in the city. And I felt comfortable."

"So when they offered this year I committed."

"Cincinnati, Bowling Green, and Miami of Ohio offered me too."

Alexander, a 5-foot-9 and 185 pounder at Southfield, Mich., has a 2.5 GPA. He rushed for 1400 yards and averaged over eight yards a carry during his junior season.
