Another ACC offer for Walker

After an enjoyable visit to Winston-Salem, Brian Walker took some time to reflect on his latest offer from Wake Forest. He also has plans for at least a few more visits in the coming months.
"My visit to Wake Forest was pretty good," said the cornerback from Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek. "They went over their education program and what the school was all about. I got to talk with Coach (Lonnie) Galloway and some of the other coaches for a little bit. They're up there with everyone on my list. I'm not going to say I have a favorite yet."

Walker, ranked the 148th overall prospect by Rivals, currently has seven offers from North Carolina, Minnesota, NC State, South Carolina, Auburn, Tennessee and Wake Forest. Though he may not have a favorite yet, Walker did admit a few schools stand out among the rest.
"UNC, NC State and South Carolina are my three main schools right now," explained the 5-foot-11, 170-pound Walker. "UNC is the slight leader because I've been there a few times, have a good relationship with the coaches and I feel comfortable up there. I'm also talking with Clemson, Georgia Tech and Florida."
With South Carolina being an early player for Walker, recent coaching changes may have hindered their recruitment of him.
"It did and it didn't," said Walker. "It's still going to be the same down there. I had a good relationship with Coach Graham, but Coach Elliot and I have a pretty good relationship also."
Walker has visited North Carolina, NC State, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Clemson. He plans on going to Tennessee sometime in March and wants to take a trip to Virginia to see what the Cavaliers have to offer.
