Another 2010 WR from Florida

Kody Williams is a very talented wide receiver prospect from Niceville (Fla.) High School. Williams, 6-3 and 180 pounds, is only a junior and a member of the Class of 2010. Last season as a sophomore he caught 35 passes for 615 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
"I know how to break away from defender," Williams said. I have good quickness and speed and I have really good hands. I rarely drop the ball. I can also go get the ball in the air. I use my size to my advantage."

When it comes to recruiting and college football Williams is learning something new each day. In fact, he has only been to two college football games in his life. He went to Florida State for a game last season and he attended the Miami/Florida game in the Swamp a few weeks ago.
"I went to the Florida/Miami game. It was very intense. It was so loud but I was expecting that. That crowd gets in a frenzy."
He is so new to following the college game Williams is learning who's who. Growing up he followed the NFL but not college football.
"I really don't know much at all. I have seen USC on T.V. and they look awesome. They have so much talent. I have watched and liked West Virginia this year. I like the wide receiver coach at South Florida. I also camped at Auburn this past summer and they seemed like a cool coaching staff.
"That's the thing I am looking at the most, the coaching staffs. This (recruiting) is all new to me and it's pretty exciting. I don't have any offers but I do get a ton of letters and teams want me to come to their games."
Niceville is 3-0 on the season and ranked No. 6 in 5A. They beat a talented Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips team last week 29-23. This Friday they face Choctaw.
