Anoai sticks to original plan

“He is still going to UConn,” commented Fork Union head coach John Shuman. “He hasn’t changed his mind.” Afa’s mother attended UConn, and he wants to follow in her footsteps.
As a junior at Bethlehem (Pa.) Freedom, Afa recorded 75 tackles and six sacks. He has not seen much time on the field at Fork Union, due to injuries, but his new coach is looking forward to the day he can play.

“He has had some nagging injuries so he is out of shape and had not played much,” he commented. “When he is ready, though, he will play.” The 6-foot-3, 280 pound athlete will start at noseguard when he returns to the team.
