Ankrah takes his third official

Rivals250 defensive end Jason Ankrah took his third official visit this past weekend to nearby Maryland. Is the trip the 6-foot-4, 248-pounder's final official before a decision?
"It was a good visit," he said. "I hung out with the players and had fun.

"I got there Friday after school and went to the ESPNZone, had dinner with the coaches and just hung out with the players.
"My host was Masengo Kabongo. He's cool. He told me the pros and cons of the school and showed me a good time. He talked to me about how I have a chance to come in and play as a freshman too."
While on-campus, Ankrah took in the basketball game.
"It was fun, Maryland destroyed them."
The four-star prospect met with the coaches for a bit before heading out on Sunday.
"I talked to Coach Sollazzo and that went well," he said. "Then I talked to Coach Friedgen. It was good. We talked for 30 to 45 minutes about how much he likes me and how I should go there. I got to know him better too. He's a cool guy."
The visit was a good one for the No. 9 prospect in Maryland.
"I got to know a lot of the players, a lot of freshmen and sophomores," he said. "They showed me a good time."
What's next for Ankrah?
"I'm probably going to sit down and decide between Michigan, Nebraska and Maryland after the break," he said. "I did have Virginia Tech set for January 23rd, but I think that's a little late. I want to decide before that."
