Andrus close to big Pac-12 offer

Martin Andrus has already landed a bunch of Pac-12 offers but after talking to his coach the 2017 three-star defensive end from Los Angeles, Calif., thinks another big one could be on the way. So far, Andrus has been offered by UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington and Washington State. Stanford has apparently reached out to his coaches and the Cardinal could be next on the list.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Andrus is mainly focused on his junior season and said he plans to really take his time with the recruiting process. The 2017 prospect said an offer from Stanford would be big for numerous reasons so he's definitely going to take a look at that program if an offer comes. USC and UCLA are considered the early frontrunners but there is a lot of time left.
IN HIS WORDS: "Stanford should be coming soon," Andrus said. "I haven't talked to them yet but my head coach talked to them and he said they were going to offer me. It's a big offer because it means I'm handling my business in the classroom and everyone knows how great a Stanford education is."
RIVALS' REACTION: The local schools seem to have the edge right now with USC and UCLA out in front but there's no telling what could happen if Stanford does offer Andrus at some point in his recruitment. With his junior season just getting started it doesn't seem like he's in any rush to make an early decision so the Cardinal could enter that top group with an offer.
