Andrews takes SEC look

Running back Micah Andrews is back from Vanderbilt, one of his favorite schools, and had nice things to say about the program. Does he have a leader?
"Vanderbilt was really nice," said Andrews, the 5-foot-11, 193-pound running back from Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian. "I had a pretty good time. The recruits were going to go to the basketball game against Alabama but we decided to stick around and watch the Falcons game instead. It was a nice trip."

So did the trip put any school ahead of another?
"No, I'm still pretty wide open. Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and Virginia are up there with Boston College also in the mix right now. They're all pretty even with each other.
"Wake Forest and Vanderbilt have new coaches who are committed to success. You can tell their programs are on the rise. Boston College has been to a lot of bowl games recently so they're proven and Virginia has a good history over the past 15 years or so. They might have turned the corner this season with a lot of young players."
When can we expect a decision from Andrews?
"I'll probably decide sometime after next week. I've got a visit to Virginia next weekend and that will have a big impact on me."
If Andrews needs it, his official visit to Boston College is set for Jan. 24.
