Andrews names four finalists

Micah Andrews has taken one official visit and should take a few more in the coming weeks. Are things winding down for the standout running back?
"The only trip I've taken is to Wake Forest," said Andrews. "I hope I can visit Boston College, but I don't know about that at this point. I'm going to Vanderbilt (Jan. 10) and Virginia (Jan. 17). There are some smaller programs that would probably like me to visit, but I don't think so at this point. I'm pretty much down to those four."

Andrews is a 5-foot-11, 193-pound running back from Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian. He has been ranked by Rivals100.com as the No. 26 running back in the nation and is the No. 33 overall player in the state of Georgia.
"The Wake visit was nice and I'm going to use that as something to compare the other visits to. It's a small campus but the school is great and the program is on the rise. They beat Oregon really badly in their bowl game and it's a great place for a running back who wants to play early."
Andrews has plenty of experience at cornerback as well. Could defense be in his future?
"No, the schools that are recruiting me all pretty much want me on offense, where I'm at my best. I've got offers to my four leaders plus a couple of other schools."
When can we expect a decision from him?
"That's really not something I'm going to rush or set a specific timeframe for right now. I might wait until I take all my visits, but who knows. If a school really impresses me and I'm confident that's where I want to be, then I'll commit."
