Anderson starts to look at visits

Je'Vari Anderson has not focused much on recruiting. He plays at Concord (Calif.) De La Salle so the state championship was the first thing on his mind.
Anderson's team defeated Corona (Calif.) Centennial on Saturday night and the three-star played great at defensive back in the victory. Recruiting will soon become his main focus.

"This was my trip," Anderson said. "I was worried about the state game first before anything. That comes second. I was worried about my team first and the state game. I'll take my trips in January.
"We ran a ton of gassers before we came down here. We wanted it. We felt like we deserved it."
The 6-foot, 192-pound three-star prospect is mainly being recruited at safety but Anderson said he is open to moving all over to play. Whatever is needed, Anderson is open to it and that's one reason why so many Pac-12 schools are interested in him.
"I can play wherever," Anderson said. "Wherever they need me to play it doesn't matter."
The De La Salle standout said Oregon State, Utah, Washington State, California, Utah State and Oregon are mainly the ones interested and starting in January he will start taking trips.
Since he's been so focused on winning another state title, Anderson hasn't put too much thought into his recruitment so his focus will turn there in the coming weeks.
"Most of the Pac-12 schools are interested," Anderson said.
"I have to get on the phone with the coaches but I have one set up to Oregon State first. I want to visit Utah and maybe Wazzu and see what it is like down there and then probably go to local with Cal."
The three-star plans to make his choice on National Signing Day. In his senior season, Anderson finished with 30 tackles and one interception.
