Four-star cornerback Terrance Anderson got an unexpected phone call from Oklahoma last night and that made all the difference for him to make a decision today.
Anderson, a Rivals250 cornerback decided today was the day he would give the Oklahoma State a call and make his commitment known.
"I committed to Oklahoma State after the Oklahoma coaches called me to tell me that they got another defensive back," Anderson said. "So I thanked them for recruiting me and wished them the best of luck. It's a program on the rise and I want to be a part of that."
The 5-foot-10, 163-pound prospect said that his visit to Oklahoma State on Dec. 2 was a big part of his decision to go with the Cowboys as well.
"I had a great trip there," Anderson said about his trip to Oklahoma State. "The social life was great as well as the academics. I saw the guys from Houston headed there on television and I just felt like I belonged in that group from the area."
"The recruiting process got a little frustrating but now it's over and I'm confident with my decision."
Anderson is rated as the No. 19 cornerback in the country and the No. 20 overall prospect in the state of Texas.
