Kanyia Anderson still claims an offer from Cal but he's not satisfied with what he's got so far.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Virginian recently made the short trip over to College Park to check out Maryland. The Terps didn't offer but Anderson appears to be on their radar and had some nice things to say about the school.
"I went to the Maryland camp and the only other camp I've got this summer will be Wake Forest," Anderson said.
"I did pretty well (at Maryland). They want to see me standing up as a linebacker. I haven't heard back from them too much but the coaches told me I did pretty good.
"I thought it was alright. They've got a good campus and stuff. I got a little tour around it after (the camp). They showed me around and I saw all the new Under Armour stuff and everything they're coming out with."
Anderson says he has offers from Cal, Old Dominion, JMU, Furman and Cornell. For now he has one school ahead of the rest.
"I really like ODU," he said. "They plan on using me in different schemes. Either as a rush end or coming on blitzes on third down because of my speed. I can also drop into coverage."
Anderson added that he hopes to make his decision before the end of the summer.
