Anderson has in-state leader

St. Louis (Mo.) Hazelwood East three-star fullback William Anderson had a good senior season and now that it's over, he's ready to turn his attention toward the recruiting process a little more. According to him, it looks like there's one team that's at the top of his list.
"I'm supposed to be going to Mizzou in December," Anderson, who is 6-foot and 220 pounds, said. "I'm supposed to talk to coach (Cornell) Ford again to see when he wants me to come."

Anderson has listed scholarship offers for quite some time from Nebraska, Illinois and Missouri. He's also getting some attention from some other schools, too.
"I talked to Northern Iowa," Anderson, the nation's No. 9 fullback, said. "They want me to come up there in a couple weeks, but we haven't set a date yet. Then I haven't been able to get in touch with Nebraska yet. I'm going to wait until after all my visits before I make my decision."
But it's clear that there is one team to beat, though.
"Mizzou," he said. I'd have to say Mizzou. Location really isn't a factor. It's more just how much that they are calling me and talking to me."
Anderson said the highlight of his senior season was a 207-yard performance against the No. 1 team in St. Louis.
"I had a good season, but that was the best game for me," he said.
