Anastasio takes local visit

Fairfax (Va.) Robinson safety/athlete Chase Anastasio finally resumed his official schedule with a trip to nearby Charlottesville, Va. and to the UVA Cavaliers. How did it go?
“The visit was great from what I saw,” said the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder’s father, Mike. “He was hosted by Ryan Sawyer and he roomed with Matt Schaub. He had a good visit and coach Groh has a way about him that really impresses everyone.”

Anastasio has now been to UVA, Ohio State and Notre Dame. He’ll take his final official visit next weekend when he heads to Virginia Tech.
“He’s definitely taking that visit,” his father said. “Coach Beamer is coming in on Thursday and coach Groh visits next Tuesday. Coach Willingham was here last Sunday and coach Tressel will be in soon as well. It’s not going to be an easy decision. All four schools are great and he’ll decide sometime next week.”
Anastasio is ranked as the No. 28 safety in the country and is No. 7 in the state of Virginia.
