AMP: Katrina evacuees find home, football

Former John F. Kennedy (New Orleans, La.) football players Brandon Norton and Courtney Smith have a story similar to many other prospects from the Gulf region. They evacuated before Hurricane Katrina could wipe out their home and school. After a few stops they ended up in Prattville, Alabama.
AMP reporter Matt Sacks interviewed Norton and Smith in August prior to Katrina, then went to Prattville Friday night to film their first game action of the year. While it was evident that the game was important to Norton and Smith, it paled in comparison to another story that developed that night.
