Amos commits to Ohio State

Ohio State has landed another of the top prospects in their home state as Middletown, Ohio, wide receiver and defensive back Andre Amos has committed to the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from Purdue, Michigan, and others.
The 6-foot-1 and 180 pound Amos caught 30 passes and intercepted three during his junior season. Amos had narrowed things down to the Buckeyes, Boilermakers, and Wolverines in June before now narrowing things down to the first two and subsequently selecting Ohio State. All three schools as well as close to two dozen others offered a scholarship.
Amos is the No. 29 wide receiver prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 10 overall prospect in the state of Ohio. The Buckeyes have now landed commitments from six of the top 10 prospects in the state of Ohio.
