AM visit impresses Walker

Waco, Texas, cornerback Marcus Walker has maintained he would take an even keel stance after each and every one of his official visits. So when he visited Florida State and Arkansas, he didn’t show as much excitement as other recruits do.
He had the same reaction after visiting Texas A&M this weekend.

“It was a very good visit,” Walker, who is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, said.
“We went down on Friday and hung out with all the players. I hung out a lot with Reggie McNeal and Earvin Taylor. The players were very cool and easy to relate too.
"Most of them are from Texas, like I am, so we could talk about our high school teams a lot.”
Walker was joined on the visit by teammate Torey Degrate. Walker said Degrate also had a great time and seemed excited about the Aggies offense. What did Walker think about A&M’s defense?
“They’re young, and they like to be aggressive,” he said.
“I know they had a lot points scored on them this year, but they’re going to be a good defense in the future. They made a point to let me know that I could be a big part of that growth.”
Walker, ranked as the nation’s No. 4 cornerback is set to visit Oklahoma next weekend and then is considering LSU and Arizona for his final visit.
Walker said he expects in home visits from Oklahoma, Florida State and Texas A&M this week.
