AM, UT, OU battle brewing

According to his mother, Peggy Smith, Allen, Texas, defensive end Chris Smith is now favoring Texas, A&M and Oklahoma – and he has an impressive offer sheet from all three of the schools.
“He has offers from A&M, Texas, SMU, TCU, Florida, Texas Tech, OU, K-State, Iowa and LSU,” she said.
“But right now his favorites are A&M, Texas and Oklahoma. He’s going to look really hard at those three schools and see them this spring and this summer.”
Smith, who is 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, has already made unofficial visits to UT and A&M and is hoping to visit Norman some time this spring.
"Right now I'm looking to make a decision sometime in the month of July, so that my focus can be on my senior season," Smith said.
"I want to try to attend as many spring games and one-day camps as possible before then.”
