Alvin Toney has speed and smarts

Alvin Toney has put his name on the map.

The 5-foot-8, 162 pound junior wide receiver out of Birmingham (Ala.) Jackson-Olin had over 1,000 yards of total offense and he scored nine touchdowns this season.

He is dangerous as a return man with his quickness and ability to move in space. He has great hands and he can be used in multiple ways on the offensive side of the ball.

Not only does he get it done on the field, but he takes care of business in the classroom too. He recently scored a 25 on the ACT.

The schools showing the most interest at this time are Duke, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy and UAB.
