Alston keeps long camp schedule

Greensboro (N.C.) Page running back Remene Alston may not be the largest running back prospect in the country standing at 5-foot-8, 180-pounds but three offers and tons of attention have this young man feeling the attention.
The main focus of the summer has been a tireless camp schedule that included Duke, South Carolina, Wake Forest, and also North Carolina this weekend. There has been so much traveling that Alson claims he doesn't remember half of them. However, he does remember the most successful ones.
"Wake Forest was really great but they haven't been in much contact with my coach as much," Alston said. "My coach gave them a call but then when my coach tried to call back he could never reach them."
"I don't know what's going on, but I've got North Carolina next so I'm looking forward to that."
As for a favorite team that's been pretty much the same the whole time.
"Kentucky is really high up there because they're showing the most love right now," Alston said. "If I could get some more interest from Georgia tech and Maryland that would be great too because I'm real interested in them."
Alston, ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect in North Carolina, has thought a little about when he wants to make his final decision and visit plans.
"It probably won't be until the middle of the season," Alston said. "I really want to concentrate on that and my team. My first official visit will probably be to Kentucky, I'd like to see Georgia Tech and Maryland if I could too. The others are hard to tell, but I trying to see what I want to do until then."
Alston also has an offer from East Carolina.
