Alozie hoping Big East school offer

While Okezie Alozie is grateful for the five scholarship offers he has, he's the first to point out that a Big East school is near the front of his mind.
The 6-foot, 200-pound safety from Bethlehem (Pa.) Freedom has offers from Army, Liberty, Navy, Stony Brook and VMI.

He took a closer look at what the service academy route would be like last week.
"This summer I camped at Temple, West Virginia and Akron," Alozie recalled.
"I took a visit out to Navy last week. I thought it was amazing. It was a gorgeous place. After talking to some of the guys there as I was watching the scrimmage I felt good about it. It's not as bad as some people think it might be," he said referring to the military commitment after football.
Alozie admits that he's very interested in a Big East school that has been recruiting him for a while.
"I was injured last season but I went to West Virginia for their camp and I did well there. They're right there with me, they just want to see how I'll perform early this year. Same thing with Maryland and Akron.
"I don't really have a favorite but I really hope I get offered by West Virginia."
All of the schools recruiting Alozie are hoping to take him as a safety.
