Alloway ready for big season

Damian Alloway is hearing from a few more schools as his junior season gets closer and he's excited for things to start because the 2016 athlete will be busy this year.
"I've heard from Arizona and Notre Dame in the last few weeks," Alloway said. "They just wanted to check me out during the season and it was pretty preliminary stuff.

"I know (USC) has been talking to my coach. They want to come check me out during the season as well. They want to come up to some practices when we get in pads and that's about it."
The Fontana (Calif.) Summit standout had a great summer and has already landed offers from Cal, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
In his junior season, Alloway is going to play all over the field and he thinks it will definitely help with his recruitment as coaches see him perform on offense, defense and special teams.
"On offense we run a spread offense so I'm going to be at slot receiver and we have a two-back offense as well so when we go to that I'll be at running back as well," Alloway said. "I'm going to be everywhere this season. Then on defense I play free safety and corner so I'm going to play wherever I need to play."
It sounds like Cal and UCLA have a slight edge early on but Alloway wants to keep things open in his recruitment especially since things have just kicked off.
Many other offers could be on the way so the Fontana Summit standout doesn't want to say anything too definitive yet.
"It's too early right now but Cal and UCLA have been my favorites since the beginning because those were my first two offers," Alloway said.
"Oklahoma, Notre Dame and big schools like when they start coming around of course I'm going to put them into consideration with everybody else. As of right now Cal, UCLA, Washington, all my offers are on the same level for me."
