Alloway names early top five

Damian Alloway has an early top five - very early since some of the schools that he is favoring at this point have not offered yet.
The 2016 four-star athlete from Fontana (Calif.) Summit said this past weekend at Ground Zero 7on7 registration day that some schools are really standing out but he still remains open to every team.

"Counting offers and not offered yet I'd say UCLA, Oregon, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and LSU," Alloway said. "I just want to get in touch with those coaches and see what happens."
One coach that Alloway has really reached out to recently is UCLA's Jim Mora. The Bruins are definitely one of the frontrunners for the speedy 2016 prospect who could project on either side of the ball and Alloway just wanted to clear up some rumors he heard over the holidays.
"I've really been trying to get in touch with coach Mora," Alloway said.
"He messaged me on Twitter and told me to give him a call. I'm just trying to see what he's thinking. I heard he was trying to get an NFL job and I was trying to get in touch with him about that. He's the coach I've really been trying to talk to."
So far, Alloway has been offered by Cal, Duke, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State. Texas A&M reached out recently, Notre Dame is getting more involved and USC is in the mix as well.
Alloway, rated as the sixth-best athlete and the No. 95 recruit in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, said he believes his recruitment could pick up in a big way again soon.
"Right when track starts and Ground Zero gets started again, that's when it will pick up and offers will start piling in again," Alloway said. "It will be big for me."
