Alloway lands Big 10 interest

Damian Alloway has not landed any new offers recently but the 2016 four-star athlete is hearing from a Big 10 power and he's definitely excited.
"A new school that has gotten really involved is Wisconsin," Alloway said. "They've been contacting me.

"They told me to fill out their questionnaire and they've been sending me mail. I've been talking to the coaches on Twitter and they said they're going to get in more contact after September 1. From what they're telling me, they're really interested."
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect from Fontana (Calif.) Summit has already landed offers from Cal, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
Plenty of other Pac-12 programs are showing interest including USC and Alloway said he's starting to think about some unofficial visits for this season.
"Of course I'm going to go to some USC and UCLA games, some Cal games because Erik (Brown) is up there but I don't know about out-of-state games," Alloway said.
Rated as the seventh-best athlete and the No. 77 prospect overall in the 2016 rankings, Alloway said it's way too early for any leaders.
First, the Fontana Summit standout wants to play some games in his junior season, see where his recruitment goes in the coming months, and then figure out which situation might be best for him.
The offer from UCLA is definitely big. Interest from USC is appealing. He has at least one close friend at Cal. The new interest from Wisconsin is something he will consider. And then many other programs have also reached out so for now it's just too soon for Alloway to be leaning a certain way.
"It's too early right now," Alloway said. "I want to see where my recruitment is really going to go, if it's going to blow up during and after the season and then we'll go from there."
