Michigan State had a monster upset on Saturday when it beat No. 4 and unbeaten Wisconsin. Games like that help with recruiting no doubt, but Michigan State was already piecing together an impressive class before the big win. Take a look at the pledge they snagged from three-star receiver Ryan Allison.
With scholarship offers all over the nation – including big ones from Boston College, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, UCLA and Wisconsin – Allison picked the Spartans and he says he’s not wavered on that pledge one bit.
“I have one and only one official visit set up,” Allison, who is 6-foot-3 and 199 pounds, said. “I’m going to visit Michigan State on January 14. That’s the best fit for me, and it’s a great place and a great situation.”

Allison had a very impressive senior season. He’s still waiting to see on what post-season honors he’s picked up, but he did rack up 54 receptions for 950 yards and 10 touchdowns.
