Allison could land more offers

Jeremiah Allison is sitting with four offers but the Los Angeles Dorsey outside linebacker is not ready to make his decision yet especially since so many other schools are showing interest.
UCLA, SMU, Boise State and Colorado State have offered Allison, who said the Bruins hold a slight edge in his recruitment but that he wants to take visits and that will determine which school lands his commitment.

"UCLA is looking good because they offered first and then SMU offered after them," Allison said.
"It's all going to be about the visits and see what I like. I talk to (UCLA offensive coordinator) Mike Johnson and he's out recruiting trying to get a better class for 2012 so that's a good thing.
"I'm just grateful for every offer. I think the recruiting process is about to pick up and it's an experience I want to take part in."
Stanford, Cal, Oregon, Arizona State, Washington, Yale and Princeton are some other programs involved with Allison, one of the best linebackers this past weekend at the Stanford NIKE Camp.
Allison said he's still open to all possibilities but that his focus now turns to spring practice.
"Of course I would be open to the Ivy League," Allison said. "There's nothing like it and it's not like people aren't getting out from Princeton, Yale and Brown and going to the NFL. It's all about how you play. If you want it bad enough you can get it.
"Our spring ball starts this week so I'm getting ready for that. I have to take a leadership role and I'm trying to lead our team to a championship."
