Allen takes in another spring game

Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's Prep star Dionte Allen headed south on Saturday with two of his teammates, fellow star junior Taurian Washington and cousin and recent Ohio State signee Aaron Gant. The trio took in the OSU spring game.
"I've been down there for AAU basketball," Allen said. "But that was my first time for football.

"It was great. I was surprised how many fans were there for a spring game. I really liked it."
The OSU coaching staff made sure Allen felt at home.
"I talked to coach Tressel, coach Haynes, and coach Beckman," Allen said. "I liked it. All the people, all the excitement, it really got my attention."
Allen has been to spring games at Ohio State and Michigan State, and a spring practice at Michigan.
When asked to name the schools he is interested in, Allen said, "Michigan, Florida State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, Texas, and Miami, that's basically the ones. They've all offered."
But Allen is not expected to select a college anytime soon.
"I'm open," he said. "I'll probably wait and take official visits."
The 6-foot-0 and 175-pound Allen is an outstanding prospect at both cornerback and wide receiver, but is expected to play on defense in college. Allen intercepted seven passes during his junior season.
