Allen could land major Big Ten offer

Kyle Allen is one of the top 2014 quarterbacks in the West and the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain prospect has the offer list to prove it.
Things could get even better after Allen visits Ohio State this summer.

"Ohio State is very interested right now," Allen said. "I'm going up there June 23 and I'm pretty sure they're going to offer me when I go up there. They're showing a lot of interest right now.
"That would be really big. That's definitely one of my top schools right now so that would be really big."
Penn State is also showing interest in Allen, who plans to visit Ohio State, USC and Stanford this summer.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound pro-style quarterback already lists offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Duke, North Carolina, Oklahoma State and UCLA.
"It's a little too early to tell right now so I'm just going to keep all my options open," Allen said.
Those three visits are going to be crucial to Allen as he tries to figure out his recruitment early on.
The Scottsdale Desert Mountain standout said he'd like to make an early decision but will not rush into something until he's ready.
"I'm going to take those visits first," Allen said. "I'd like to make a decision as early as possible to get it out of the way. I'm definitely not going to rush though and I'll do it when I'm ready."
In his junior season, Allen threw for 2,547 yards and 21 touchdowns.
