All-purpose back looking for more offers

Running back Brenton Bolden, who is from League City (Texas) Clear Creek, recently got his first offer.
"Just one from Missouri," Bolden said about offers to date. "Colorado and Arizona seem to be the most interested other than Missouri."

Right now he favors Missouri and LSU the most.
"I grew up there," Bolden said in reference to LSU. "I always liked them as a fan."
He also likes Texas and UCLA, but he feels that he won't get an offer from Texas.
UCLA: "They have a good program and they run the ball. I like their style of offense."
Texas: "The program is awesome. I just like Texas and it's close."
During the month of May he received calls from college coaches from the following schools: Texas, Arizona, TCU and Colorado.
Coaches from Texas, Arizona, Colorado, TCU, Oklahoma and Northwestern visited his school for evaluations with his high school coach.
Even though he did not receive any calls from the Alabama and Notre Dame coaches, he feels both of those schools might offer him.
Bolden is 6-foot-0 and 190 pounds. He says that he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds at a recent Nike camp.
Distance should not play a factor in his final decision
"Campus size and the academic reputation of the school will play the largest part in the decision," he said. "It will not be the distance to the school."
He will probably attend summer camps at Texas A&M and LSU.
As a junior he had approximately 1,000 yards rushing, scoring eight touchdowns while only fumbling twice. He also caught four passes for about 80 yards and one touchdown.
He made first-team all-district honors.
"My speed and balance are my strong points," he said. "Just an all-around slashing back."
He carries a solid 3.5 core grade point average. Bolden is undecided on a major at this time.
