The skinny: During his one season at IMG last fall, Mond totaled 2,560 yards of offense and 36 touchdowns. Mond was originally committed to Baylor but decommitted and ended up committing to Texas A&M. Originally from Texas, Mond was always likely to play his college ball in the Lone Star State, even after the decision to play his senior season at IMG. With the Aggies' starting job up for grabs, Mond is currently competing with Nick Starkel and Jake Hubenak to control of the offense.

Farrell’s take: Mond beat out some talent here in Shea Patterson and Deondre Francois with his legs, essentially. He threw for more yards as well, but his ability to extend the play and move around effortlessly is what made him a five-star. He'll have a great career at A&M.

RUNNING BACK

The skinny: Scarbrough rushed for 1,118 yards and 16 touchdowns at IMG in 2013. He committed to Alabama at the beginning of his junior season, but then took official visits to Notre Dame, UCLA and Ole Miss during his senior campaign. Both Ole Miss and Florida State became serious threats at one point, but Scarbrough ultimately stuck with his word and signed with the Tide. After a relatively slow start to his sophomore season, Scarbrough became one of the top backs in the country over the last two months of the 2016 season with 354 yards and 6 touchdowns against Auburn, Florida, Washington and Clemson.

Farrell’s take: Scarbrough was a beast out of high school, one of the most physically dominant players I’ve seen, and a guy who could have been a tight end or even a big wide out as well as a running back. Alternatively, put him on defense and he would kill people. It’s no surprise he’s had to wait his turn at Alabama, but this could be a huge year for him.

WIDE RECEIVER

The skinny: Greene spent both his junior and senior seasons at IMG, totaling 37 receptions for 699 yards and eight touchdowns during his time. He trimmed his list to UCF, UCLA, Nebraska, West Virginia, Maryland, Texas A&M and Louisville before deciding to stay in state and play for the Golden Knights in June. As an early enrollee, Greene impressed through the spring and now the summer, and he seems in line to receive playing time as a true freshman.

Farrell’s take: Greene wasn’t big, but he was always fast and very shifty after the catch. He had sure hands and could take the punishment of a bigger wide receiver. His two years at IMG were solid and, compared to others, very consistent.

The skinny: Davis’ one season at IMG was one full of big plays, as he totaled 11 receptions for 431 yards and seven touchdowns. On the recruiting front, he was down to LSU and Ole Miss for months, with the Rebels actually considered the leader for a majority of the time, but the Tigers pulled it out at the end. After grabbing only one reception for LSU in 2016, Davis seems to have stepped up during the offseason and should make an impact this fall.

Farrell’s take: Davis was a freak when I first saw him at one of our underclassmen events, and then he gave up football to play soccer, something I can’t really remember any other prospect doing. Thankfully, he came back to football, and with his long stride and big hands, he should become an impact guy at LSU.

WIDE RECEIVER

The skinny: Ausbon finished his one season at IMG with 18 receptions for 399 yards and five touchdowns. He was originally committed to LSU, but with Kellen Mond heading to Texas A&M and Les Miles and the Tigers parting ways, he flipped to the Aggies. With plenty of playing time available at the wide receiver position after Christian Kirk, Ausbon has impressed in College Station and should see significant playing time as a true freshman.

Farrell’s take: A big and physical receiver, Ausbon can also run, and he and Mond will become a great tandem in College Station. I expected a bit more from him at IMG, but looking at the production of the wide receivers and the way the ball is distributed, it turns out he was one of the best.

TIGHT END

The skinny: Nauta totaled 13 receptions for 230 yards and two touchdowns during his one season at IMG. He originally committed to Florida State, but then decommitted and took official visits to Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss. Nauta's decision came down to the Wolverines and Bulldogs, and he eventually chose to stay closer to home and committed to Georgia. After grabbing 29 receptions for 361 yards and three touchdowns in 2016, eyes will be on Nauta this fall to see if he can take his game to the next level.

Farrell’s take: Nauta is a rare five-star tight end on Rivals.com and could clearly become a star. I remember how dominant he was when he was young, then how he bulked up a bit too much near the end of his junior year and then re-committed to the weight room and turned into a monster. He has first-round potential if he’s utilized properly.

OFFENSIVE LINE

The skinny: Hainsey, originally from Pennsylvania, paved the way for a ground attack led by Kellen Mond, Asa Martin and Trey Sanders. He trimmed his list to Notre Dame, Michigan and Michigan State before committing to the Irish in July. While a majority of true freshmen offensive linemen redshirt at Notre Dame, Hainsey is pushing for early playing time. Currently the second-team right tackle behind redshirt freshman Tommy Kraemer, look for Hainsey to get some run this fall.

Farrell’s Take: Hainsey was a talented kid out of Western Pennsylvania before heading to IMG to raise his level of competition. The results were solid, if not spectacular, but he always showed grit, a physical nature and solid footwork. He needed lower body strength, but that will come in college, and he could be a three-year starter at Notre Dame.

OFFENSIVE LINE

The skinny: St. Louis was the anchor of the 2014 IMG offensive line. He committed to Miami in late July but still took a late January official visit to Florida that caused some concern among Canes fans and coaches. However, when it came time to put pen to paper, St. Louis stuck with the Canes. Due to injuries at the position, St. Louis saw substantial playing time at tackle last season. Now he looks firmly entrenched at right tackle heading into the 2017 season.

Farrell’s Take: St. Louis took the next step at IMG, as he went from a long, angular pass blocker to a physical, aggressive run blocker as well. His development there led to his early impact so far at Miami, and he could turn into a very good one before all is said and done.

OFFENSIVE LINE

The skinny: Along with St. Louis, Fifita was part of a dominant IMG offensive line in 2014. He committed to Oregon State over Washington State and Hawaii in July. With family in the Corvallis area, the Beavers were considered the heavy favorite since they decided to offer. Fifita was redshirted in 2015 and did not see any game action in 2016. In preparation for the 2017 season, Fifita has been lining up as the second-team right guard during summer practices.

Farrell’s take: Fifita was a team leader and an aggressive blocker at IMG despite not being as physically developed as some others. He was smart, picked things up quickly and was a favorite in the locker room. His ranking wasn’t high, but I am surprised it’s taken him so long to have an impact at Oregon State.

OFFENSIVE LINE

The skinny: Originally from New Jersey, Ruiz spent two seasons at IMG. While Michigan was seen as the favorite for a substantial part of his recruiting process, Ruiz did also take official visits to Auburn and Florida during his senior season before committing to the Wolverines in December. Despite being a true freshman, Ruiz is currently battling Patrick Kugler for the starting center position.

Farrell’s Take: I loved Ruiz from his days in South Jersey, and he took the next step at IMG. He played with great leverage, was nasty and had great feet. He’s going to be a star in college because of his work ethic and attitude - he’s one of the best centers I’ve ever scouted.

OFFENSIVE LINE

The skinny: Along with St. Louis and Fifita, Mallory was another piece of IMG’s impressive 2014 offensive line. He trimmed his recruiting list down to Cincinnati and Louisville before committing to the Bearcats in late July. Mallory is currently battling for the second-team left guard spot behind Idarius Ray.

Farrell’s Take: Mallory wasn’t highly ranked for an IMG prospect, like Fifita, but he brought it every play and was nasty and aggressive. He didn’t get the national attention or offers he likely should have, so the Bearcats could have a steal on their hands here.
