All Even For Leon Washington

Jacksonville (Fla.) Andrew Jackson defensive back/running back Leon Washington entered this weekend with Florida State and Florida as his leaders. Not anymore.
"It's all even now," said the 5-foot-10, 180-pound star. "South Carolina was great and the coaches were really down to earth. Lou Holtz -- that's all you have to say. He's a legend and brings morality to his program."
Washington wants to be a running back in college and likes the opportunity that South Carolina has for him.
"Derek Watson is off the team so I could go right in and play right away," he said. "I'm going to make a choice based on what is best for me and not what people say or think. South Carolina is right up there even with FSU and Florida."
Washington will get an in-home visit from Lou Holtz this week. He visits Florida State next weekend and won't make a decision until Signing Day.
