Alexander with Sooners ahead

ORLANDO, Fla. - Three-star defensive end Frank Alexander was making plays on the inside and on the outside during Saturday's East Meets West All-American game.
Following up with Alexander after the game, it wasn't just big plays that was on his mind. The 6-foot-5, 227-pounder is getting close to a recruiting decision and has shifted up his leader in the past few days.

It appears that Oklahoma is the current team to beat.
"Yeah, they kind of are my favorite," Alexander said. "I went down there for a visit and they showed me a lot of love. I had a great time visiting Oklahoma. Coach (Bob) Stoops showed a lot of interest in me.
"He came down to my house and talked to my family and me. That meant a lot to me."
LSU has only made a verbal offer at this point and Alexander says he hasn't spoken with them in a couple of weeks.
There may be more official visit taken before making a decision right before Signing Day. Thus far, Alexander has only visited Auburn and Oklahoma.
