Alexander makes announcement

It's been an interesting process for Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower safety Mister Alexander, but Monday was the day that the recruiting journey was supposed to finally come to an end.
Holding offers from Arkansas, Washington State, and Arizona State going into this final official visit this weekend to see Florida State, the three-star prospect was to find out just minutes before his announcement whether the Seminoles would be an option or not.

After that, Alexander was expected to make his pick in front of the television cameras and entire school. However, something else happend when he finally got to the podium.
"I'm not ready to make my announcement today," Alexander said. "I'll make it on Signing Day."
Rated as the No. 78 prospect in the state of Texas, Alexander missed six games during his senior season but had quite the year leading up to that. During this past year he recorded 30 tackles, three-forced fumbles, and several pass breakups.
His coach, in a previous interview, says that Alexander has the pro potential.
"In my mind, Mister is an NFL safety," Eisenhower coach Daryl Thipps said. "He just brings the big hit every play and is a tremendous player for us."
Stay tuned on this one.
