Alexander hopes to get Ole Miss offer
One of Georgia’s top linebackers is Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview standout Demetrice Alexander. After he racked up more than 120 tackles as a junior, he’s on pace to break the 100 tackle mark again as a senior and earn more scholarship offers along the way.
“I have 77 tackles in eight games,” Alexander said. “That makes it about 10 tackles a game. I have seven or eight for a loss, too. I just go out there and do my job and help the team win ball games.”

Alexander has one official visit lined up for Indiana on December 5, but he is making an unofficial visit to Ole Miss this weekend and he’s hoping to get some good news from the Rebels.
“I think they’re going to offer me,” Alexander, who is 6-foot and 215 pounds, said. “I’m going to get out there for sure and see what they’re about and get that offer.’
Ole Miss and Indiana are joined by Tennessee and Wisconsin on his list. He has scholarship offers from the two Big 10 schools at this point.
