Alexander gets his dream shot

Patience paid off for Eisenhower linebacker Mister Alexander.
The story began earlier this week as Alexander cancelled a press conference on Monday, waiting on Florida State to offer. He was supposed to be notified just minutes before his announcement. The Seminoles finally can through this morning and Alexander made his life-long dream come true.

"He's always been a Florida State fan," Eisenhower coach Darrell Phipps said. "They got a good one. When he puts those pads on next year and gets on the field, they are going to like what they see."
Alexander announced at a press conference at his school before coaches, administrators and teammates. He had 19 other teammates sign college football scholarship, ranging from Division I to junior college programs.
"It's been a dream of mine to play there," Alexander said. "I enjoyed my visit out there last weekend and was going to wait on them to offer."
Alexander also visited Arkansas and Washington State during the recruiting process.
