Alcin back from South Florida

Tampa (Fla.) Chamberlin wide receiver Edner Alcin made an official visit to South Florida during the weekend.
He did not commit and will take trips to West Virginia and Central Florida in the next two weeks and make a decision shortly thereafter.

The 6-foot, 164-pounder had a good time and said that he learned a lot about the university and the Bulls program even though he lives in Tampa.
"You don't even feel like you're at home when you are on campus," he said. "It's an entirely different atmosphere."
Alcin met with South Florida coaches and had a one-on-one meeting with Bulls head coach Jim Leavitt.
"It went well," Alcin said. "I told (Leavitt) that I wanted to see what all of my options are. But I felt like I was at home with (South Florida)."
Grant Gregory was Alcin's player host.
"He's a very good host," he said. "He was a little bit nervous because it was his first time, but he's a very good host."
Wally Burnham is Alcin's South Florida recruiter of record.
Alcin caught 35 passes for more than 500 yards and five touchdowns this season as Chamberlin went 8-4. He has been timed as fast as 4.44 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
