Linebacker Joshua Alaeze is still looking for his first BCS scholarship. The 6-foot-1, 229-pounder out of Parkville, Md. holds two offers so far, but believes more could be coming soon.
"I've got offers from New Mexico and Towson," he said. "I've been talking to a few coaches from Alabama, Southern Cal and Florida.
"I think Florida could offer. I'm headed down there for camp this summer. I've also been talking to Coach Norton at USC. He's planning to come to my school next month. Both of them like my film a lot.
"Wake Forest has been talking to me too. They just want me to come down for a visit and meet me in person. They know what happened with my brother and they want to see what kind of person I am. I've been busy and couldn't make it down. They do think I'll be an impact player."
While visits haven't happened much yet, Alaeze is looking at making some soon.
"I'm thinking about going to Wake Forest for their spring game and perhaps North Carolina sometime soon," he said. "My father had talked about visiting Alabama possibly for their spring game also."
The Maryland prospect claims no favorites at this moment.
"I'm hoping for anything," he said. "I want any school that is recruiting me. They stand out to me the most."
Alaeze posted 89 tackles, six sacks, eight forced fumbles on his way to honorable mention all-state and all-metro honors.
