Alaeze might not need five trips

The nation’s top defense end, Melvin Alaeze, is happy to have his high school team in the playoffs, while still looking to set up official visits.
Alaeze, a 6-foot-2, 277-pounder, and his Randallstown, Md., team have reached the Class AAA playoffs after a 6-4 season. He had 40 tackles and 17 sacks to help in the drive to the playoffs.

“I’m glad we’re in,” Alaeze said. “We’ve been playing good and we’re looking forward to what is next.”
And what about the direction of his recruiting?
“It is going good,” Alaeze said. “It's the same. Maryland and Virginia Tech are at the top and I’m still looking. I haven’t set any official visits.”
After Maryland and Virginia Tech are Miami, Florida State, Florida and Ohio State. The highly-recruited defensive lineman said he will probably make his decision after three or so official visits.
“I want to see how the campus is and how I fit with the coaching staff and players were I go,” Alaeze said. "I might not need all five though."
