Alabama WR likes three

Huntsville (Ala.) wide receiver A.J. Walker is still waiting on his first scholarship offer, but he had three schools at the top of his list.
"Alabama, Notre Dame and Ole Miss," he said. "If any of those schools were to offer me, I would probably go ahead and commit. If not, I may wait all the way until Signing Day."

Bama and the Rebs already have been by Huntsville High to check out Walker during the evaluation period. The Fighting Irish are supposed to stop by next week.
Walker grew up a fan of the Crimson Tide.
"It's the home state school," he said. "I grew up a Bama fan and there's nothing like the atmosphere over there on a Saturday morning. I have a lot of people that I know that go there and it's the closest to home."
The mystique of Notre Dame also has Walker intrigued.
"The tradition is what I like the most," Walker said. "It would be a dream to play there."
The attention Ole Miss has shown Walker, along with a few other factors, have the Rebels in a strong position.
"They started recruiting me real early," he said. "Even though they haven't offered, they were really on me from the start, so I think that's cool. Plus, the tradition of that program is there and it's not that far from home.
"It's been neat to check out their program."
The 6-foot, 191-pounder put up some impressive numbers at the Athens NIKE Camp. He posted top 20 times in the 40-yard dash and the vertical leap.
"I did pretty good," he said. "There was lots of competition there, but I enjoyed it. I did well."
Walker had 49 catches for 645 yards and six touchdowns as a junior.
