Alabama teammates hold offers

Lochapoka (Ala.) head coach Jerome Tate has a pair of Division I-A prospects that have continued to receive attention from a number of programs since the contact period began on Sept. 1.
Outside linebacker Corey Hart and safety/outside linebacker Franchez Pitts both are getting their share of attention.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Hart holds scholarship offers from Marshall, UAB and Vanderbilt and has had some contact from Clemson and Southern Mississippi.
Recently, a new Southeastern Conference program has been in contact.
"I know that Ole Miss contacted (Hart) the other night," Tate said. "Everybody is looking at him as a linebacker."
That could be a good thing considering that Hart has made the transition from safety to linebacker for his high school team.
"He's kind of adapting to it now," Tate said.
The 6-foot-3, 188-pound Pitts holds offers from Marshall and UAB and also has had contact with Southern Mississippi.
"He will be more of a safety or linebacker type," Tate said.
Both are two-star rated prospects by Rivals.com.
