Alabama is still putting the finishing touches on its 2018 recruiting class but that doesn't mean the Tide aren't already eyeing the next batch of elite recruits. This weekend Alabama will play host to a number of elite 2019 and 2020 Tennessee prospects, including Rivals100 prospects Woodi Washington, Shamar Nash and Eric Gregory and 2020 prospects Jake Wray and Darin Turner.

"I'm excited to get back and see Alabama," said Washington, the nation's No. 28 overall prospect. "I visited earlier this year when they played Tennessee and that was a good atmosphere. I just want to get back and spend some more time with the coaches."

Saturday's visit will afford the players the unique opportunity to watch Alabama practice as they prepare to meet Clemson in the College Football Playoff.

"They are playing for the championship almost every year," Rivals250 defensive end Ani Izuchukwu said. "It will be good to go there and watch them prepare and see how they do it."

Izuchkukwu currently has the Tide in his top three, along with Ohio State and South Carolina and will also be making the trip.

Joining Washington and Izchukwu on the visit is several other players with Alabama offers, including four-star linebacker Jackson Hannah, four-star defensive tackle Joseph Anderson, three-star defensive tackle Tymon Mitchel and 2020 offensive lineman Jake Wray.

Rivals250 defensive back Adonis Otey, a one-time Tennessee commitment, added an offer from the Tide on Thursday and said he's excited to get to talk to the coaches in person.

"This is a big offer for me," Otey said Thursday." They want me to come down and check it out so I'm going with a bunch of my guys from Tennessee so we can all see it together."

The group of Tennessee visitors is part of a contingent of elite underclassmen visitors expected in Tuscaloosa over the weekend.
