Alabama receiver picks up offers two more

In late March, Madison (Ala.) Bob Jones wide receiver Collins Moore picked up an offer from the University of Kentucky. One month later, Moore has amassed two more offers from Illinois and Tulane. Both are schools that have at least one quality that appeals to him.
"The Tulane offer came two weeks ago and the Illinois offer came [Thursday]," Moore said. "I know they're big into academics which I like. They both offer really really good majors."

With three offers under his belt, Moore is interested in all of the schools that have shown interest in him. After receiving the Kentucky offer in March, he got up to Lexington to visit the SEC campus for a junior day.
"I went up there I think two weekends ago," he said. "I liked it a lot. They have a lot to offer. I liked the facilities. It was a junior day and they had a scrimmage. I talked to Coach Thurmond, Coach Martin, Coach Sanders and of course Coach Phillips. I liked it. They've got a lot to work with. They have a chance to do big things this year I think."
The rest of the spring, Moore has track, camps and spring ball all onhis plate.
"I'll be heading down to Tuscaloosa on May 22 for the Nike Training Camp and then our spring football starts on May 3rd. We've got a game against Blackmon on the 14th. I'm very excited to go ahead and get back in the swing of things."
Track should do plenty to keep Moore busy as well. With the state track meet approaching, Moore will have his plate full.
"It's all good, we have a sectional meet coming up which is a qualifier for the state meet so the end is coming near for track," he said.
Moore expects to qualify for state in all four of his events: 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, the open 400 and the 4x400 relay.
