Alabama running back Trey Sanders entered the NCAA transfer portal Tuesday as a graduate transfer. The former five-star prospect out of IMG Academy in the 2019 class is the third Alabama player to enter the portal this season joining Jackson Martin and Braylen Ingraham.
The redshirt junior rushed for 80-yards and a touchdown on 14 carries in nine games this season. During his career with the Crimson Tide, Sanders rushed for 528 yards and three touchdowns on 116 attempts.
Sanders sustained a knee injury early in his career at Alabama causing him to miss the 2019 season. After recovering from the injury Sanders’ 2020 season was halted after he was in a car accident.
